What lies at the end of the road?
An unnatural border marks the edge between land and sea...
Tank blocks.
Old reminders of a different time,
when fear of invasion overwhelmed this coastline
and bombs dropped from darker skies.
Now the anti-aircraft guns are gone
and the buildings are nothing more
than bare bones
and ghosts.
